This page explains how to request deletion of your Thirsty Bean account and the data associated with it. Thirsty Bean is developed by Island Bytes.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to support@islandbytes.com from the email address you used to sign in to the app (your Google account email).
2. Use the subject line Delete my account.
3. We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and delete your account and associated data within 30 days. We will reply to confirm once it is done.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

• Your account identity (email address and display name)
• Your check-ins and visit history
• Your saved lists and favorite places
• Corrections and other content you submitted
• Location history and analytics identifiers linked to your account

What is kept

We do not retain data that identifies you after your account is deleted. Anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot be used to identify you (for example, overall counts) may be retained. Where we are required to keep certain records to comply with the law, we retain only what is legally required and for no longer than required.
